My central mission in life is to inspire men and women, through education and psychotherapy, to know themselves, live authentically, enhance their relationships, and build lives centered on truth and wisdom.

I believe that growth and transformation happen when we are intent on being real, living without masks and basing our lives on truth. I try to live my own life centered on these principles and believe they form the core of authenticity, personal integrity and character for anyone. Ultimately, God and the spiritual resources He provides, forms the basis for all meaningful change.

I love seeing people move forward - helping them create a more meaningful, inspired life. As a counselor and sex therapist, I have the distinct privilege of seeing lives change - at times beyond their dreams.

Education and Experience:

I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles and completed my graduate training at Chapman University. In addition, I also trained at The Institute for Sexual Wholeness - the only Christian sex therapy program in the Nation. Areas of professional involvement and experience include:

>> Licensed Therapist

Specialties include marital counseling and enrichment, treatment for depression, loss and grief, anxiety (including Obsessive-Compulsive disorder), eating disorders and food issues, addictive behaviors, and divorce recovery. (See our individual counseling page for more information.)

>> Sex Therapist

One of the few specifically trained Christian sex therapists in the Central United States. Specialties include: sexual enhancement for married couples, treatment for sexual desire disorders, men and women's sexual dysfunction and sexual trauma recovery for women. >> Clinical Supervisor and Consultant

I have had the privilege of supervising therapists seeking licensure over the past several years, including my role as clinical supervisor at a local domestic violence agency. In addition, I serve as a consultant to church leaders and other therapists who are attempting to help individuals and couples with personal and relationship problems.

>> Workshop Leader & Keynote Speaker

Frequent speaker on personal and relationship issues, women's issues, spirituality, sexuality, marital enrichment and parenting concerns.

>> Consultant for Family Ministry

Responsible for development and implementation of family ministry program at a local church, including coordination of counseling services.
